Report in with your word counts!

This entry is for  reporting daily word counts! Every day after you finish writing/creating, please comment with your nickname, the day and the number of words you wrote. See the example below:

Comment to this post and use the following format:

Subject: Day [date], [your username], [that day's word count]
Example: Day 1, Cutiesonthehorizon, 134 words

If you forget to report in during that day, no worries, post a comment the next day, just report with the date of the previous day in the subject line

Please try and use the format mentioned above for the subject line so it'll be easier for us to keep an eye on the word counts. As to the comment itself, feel free to gripe about how hard the words were, or squee about how easily you wrote half a chapter! You can put in your favorite sentence, or add a link to the fic, whatever you feel like:)

Because last month we learned the sad news that Fox doesn't want to offer us season 3 of The Exorcist anymore, we all need a bit of a pick me up. June isn't dedicated to a specific kind of fic/art... it's a great time to finish your wips, write AU fics, one-shots, or create your own season 3! Anything goes, everything is welcome. Saturday's are dedicated to tweetathons, so if you create a short haiku, funny poem, art or gifset for the tweets, please share here and on twitter, it absolutely counts towards your daily goal, I promise ;)

Most of all, have fun and don't forget to report in:)

Chapter 12 is done!!! And with that I am now only three chapters and an epilogue away from the end. I wrote a scene and a sequence today. Marcus and Tomas are the focus and there is an event that brings them even closer together.

Today's sample:

Tomas had spent a delightful evening enjoying a performance of Georges Bizet’s Carmen by the Baltimore Concert Opera. It had been ages since he seen it performed live and it did not disappoint. He had never thought much of opera until he was in college; a professor of his had encouraged him to give it a chance after a class discussion. It was the best suggestion he had ever received. Tomas fell for the form immediately and was able to see a performance of Pietro Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana at a steep student discount. Since then he collected a number of operas on vinyl, playing them often. Now he walked through his home and noticed the double doors to the dining room were ajar. This was not how he had left them. He entered the room to find a body laid out on his table and Marcus at the far end, standing next to the other set of double doors that led outside with his arms crossed over his chest. There was a smattering of blood splattered on his clothes. He was calm, serene even. Tomas liked this scene very much; his curiosity was peaked.

We ain't done yet. You still can beat me. In fact, I kinda expect it. Probably because I've been writing this for so long. lol Thanks for the encouragement!

And yes, the character formerly known as Randall met his demise thanks to Marcus. It was not pretty.
