Let's show everyone how much we love this show and how much it means to us! The Exorcist community is starting a new vidding project! We want to show the creators, FOXTV and everyone else who isn't yet watching that this show is worth fighting for.

What can you do to help?

What kind of pictures?

We're looking for photos of yourself holding a sign with #RenewTheExorcist. It can be just you or a group of your friends, it can be a selfie or not. If you are shy, you don't have to show your face. Be creative, put the sign in front of a statue, your favorite place, with a nice scenery, or a significant monument, whatever works for you. You can also add the state you're watching from on the sign, but you don't have to. 
Format of the photo: Send in good quality photos that can be used in a vid. Also please for easier editing, make the title of the photo: name (nickname)/state(country/continent) where you're from.
NOTE: There are some rules for sending photos. Please, no naked, NSFW photos at all. When taking the photo, be sure you are not in any danger. Stay safe! And also, send photos with your face only if you're over 18! Anyone under 18 years should send only the sign. 

What kind of vids?

The same as with the photos, we want to see you holding a sign with #RenewTheExorcist. In whatever place you want. If you aren't shy, you can say a few words, or hold other signs too! Tell us where you're from, what you love about the Exorcist, why you want it renewed. You might be a fan because of the diversity being represented there, the amazing cast, the wonderful chemistry between the lead actors. The casting of a male as the person who is possessed and how unique that is. The amazing cinematography, the music used, etc. Tell us in short what The Exorcist means to you!
If you don't speak English well, no problem! Tell us in your own language, we will attach subtitles (though you might want to provide us with the translation along with the vid:)

Note 2: If you send in a video footage, we might edit the length of it for the fanvid. There's no guarantee your whole footage will appear in the fanvid.

Where can I send the photos/videos and what will happen to them?

You can send the photos/vids to the e-mail address:

The videos and photos will be used purely for the creation of the fanvid. They won't be posted anywhere else. If you want to post the photo or vid on your account, go for it! We won't be posting anything but the final vid. 

When will this all happen, what's the deadline?

Right now, the deadline for sending in photos and vids is end of February, start of March. It might be moved, depending on how much material we get at the time. We will update you about the posting of the final vid once there's enough material.

Where can I keep tabs about the project?

We will keep you updated on any progress and changes here, on www.theexorcistfans.dreamwidth.org comm, as well as on https://exorcistfanvideoproject.tumblr.com, or on the discord Exorcist chat (if you are not part of the chat and would like to be, comment or pm and I will send you an active invite:)
