Comment to this post and use the following format:
Subject: Day [date], [your username], [that day's word count]
Example: Day 1, Cutiesonthehorizon, 134 words
If you forget to report in during that day, no worries, post a comment the next day, just report with the date of the previous day in the subject line.
Please try and use the format mentioned above for the subject line so it'll be easier for us to keep an eye on the word counts. As to the comment itself, feel free to gripe about how hard the words were, or squee about how easily you wrote half a chapter! You can put in your favorite sentence, or add a link to the fic, whatever you feel like:)
To help you all out a bit, April was decided to be the month of AUs/Crossovers! You're of course welcome to create any kind of content, but if you want to get some inspiration, there are few AU/Fic generators:

Most of all, have fun and don't forget to report in:)
Day 28, cinelitchick, 1095 words
Date: 2018-04-29 05:52 am (UTC)Today's sample:
“Why are you suddenly okay with doing an exorcism? Particularly this exorcism? You haven't performed one in over two months.”
Marcus closed his eyes and exhaled. “Three weeks.”
“What?”
“It's been three weeks since I performed my last exorcism … with Tomas.”
“WHAT?!”
A flock of birds which had gathered on the grass a few yards away suddenly took flight.

Date: 2018-04-30 05:07 am (UTC)Day 29, cutiesonthehorizon, 1614 words
Date: 2018-04-29 08:42 pm (UTC)"I'm sorry for barging in, but I need to talk to my brother. We have some... family business to clear up."
"Of course. Would you like some coffee? We just made a fresh batch."
"That would be lovely, thank you."
Marcus gave Tomas a wink as he passed Olivia and followed Peter to the kitchen.
For a moment there was only silence and Tomas prepared himself for the outlash. Olivia crossed her arms and made a very good imitation of abuelita.
"Are you insane?" she shouted in spanish, obviously trying to keep the conversation private but forgetting to keep her voice down as well. Tomas opened his mouth, ready to tell her that Marcus was quite skilled in spanish as well, but he didn't get a chance. Olivia was in his face, arms flailing.

From:Day 29, cinelitchick, 1371 words
Date: 2018-04-30 04:50 am (UTC)Today's sample:
“What’s going on?” Marcus asked.
“She just showed up,” Bennett explained, frustrated. “I tried to get rid of her, but she insisted on speaking with you. She claims she has information you should know about Tomas.”
Marcus was about to ask who the hell was in his living room when the answer cracked opened in his brain. “You have to got to be fucking kidding me. You let that demonseed into my house?!”
“I think we should hear her out,” Bennett calmly replied.
“Anything to help you build your case, eh, counselor?” Marcus snorted, moving further along the porch and away from his colleague. “Part of me didn’t want to tell you about the exorcism. ‘Don’t tell, Bennett. He’ll just overreact.’ Guess I backed the wrong horse.”

Date: 2018-04-30 01:28 pm (UTC)I don't do well with word counts. I'm sorry.

Date: 2018-05-01 05:49 am (UTC)I use an online word count tool I paste text into because I'm not using a proper word processor that could tell me how many words are in a file, so I copy-paste the text into the form to find out.

Date: 2018-05-01 03:45 am (UTC)Once more, today's sample:
Once he was positive she was gone, Bennett looked at Marcus. “You’re going to tell me everything Now.”
Marcus didn’t tell him everything. He only told him what he thought was relevant.
Bennett didn’t hear about their breakfast here at the house. Nor how Tomas found him in the truck after he learned about Rose’s story on the two of them. Nor how Tomas cooked for him that evening and how they grew closer. Nor about how he slept the best sleep in months in Tomas’ bed that night after the exorcism and a late-night supper. Nor about how despite his best efforts to keep Tomas at bay these past three weeks, he knew it was only a matter of time before he would be back in his waiting room. It was inevitable.
The question was whether it was God’s plan for them to be together or Marcus’ basest desires getting the best of him? Most days, he felt the answer to both queries was yes.

Date: 2018-05-01 05:52 am (UTC)Mmm, Marcus's basest desires. :)

Date: 2018-05-01 06:12 am (UTC)Thank you as well for the constant support and flow of comments, it was awesome to have instant reactions to some parts of the fic (like a little reviews, hee). Can't wait to read the fic and hope to see you around for the next ExoWriMo or other challenges we might come up with until we finally get season 3:)

From:Days 24-30, ide_cyan, a sketch and about 180 words
Date: 2018-05-01 05:45 am (UTC)A sketch of Kat, and also another abandoned sketch of Marcus I didn't post but worked on for several hours. It didn't work out.
Some scattered notes and more research that hasn't coalesced into anything. I feel like I failed at ExoWriMo big time. I didn't post anything to AO3. I need to make up for it in May.
