“Marcus, this is Doctor Tomas Ortega,” Bennett said, making the requisite introductions. “Doctor Ortega, Marcus Keane.”
“A pleasure,” Doctor Ortega said as he extended a hand to Marcus.
Marcus accepted his hand. “What brings you to St. Elizabeth’s?”
“You.” His smile had a bit a mirth to it that annoyed Marcus.
“What the hell, Bennett?” He dropped Doctor Ortega’s hand and glared at his fellow man of the cloth as Bennett took his seat behind the desk.
